50's Silvertone

This is a real nice sounding and playing archtop guitar. Cosmetically this guitar is just ok. Structurally it is perfect and wow!!! what a sound. Certain instruments just have a feel that is divinely given. You have to play a lot of guitars to find one like this.

The notes jump off the fret board when you play it. The strings feel like springs under your fingers. There is not a dead spot on the instrument. The whole back vibrates against your chest

The only other guitar that I own that has this same feel is my electric Lang. Isn't it humbling to realize that a little mass produced Silvertone guitar has the same feel to me as a rare handmade Lang guitar. It may be just me and how I see and feel things but it is real to me so that is good enough. This guitar is not for sale.
