51 Gibson L-7 Custom

This instrument started out as a 1952 Gibson L-7. I bought it from a guy in Quebec about ten years ago. It had been refinished and it was not done well. I had Stephen Holst a great luthier from Oregon refinish it and put new L-5 binding as well as an original Gibson L-5 neck on it. It has a Kent Armstrong pickup made by Kent himself. It has original L-5 tuners on it. The tailpiece is a replica. The pick guard is ebony as well as the back of the headstock. It is a fabulous sounding and playing guitar with deep rich lows and great sustain unplugged or plugged in.
